My thought on Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

Dear Writers and Readers, I'm sorry I've not written in this blog for a while. School has started and I've not had much time to write on here. I know I am late, but this is my short review of MBKD. Enjoy! :-)

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, a film very close to my heart.
I've stayed updated with this film since they started with the scenes, and that has made me have very high expectations of the film.
Sitting in the cinema, I couldn't believe that that was 'it'. The film I was waiting for, for over a year is finally on screens! It was very exciting.
It has my favorite actor, my favorite actress, and is my favorite film production.

In the start of the film, you'll be introduced to Luv (Ali Zafar). I love his character, because it's very modern. It's the personality most guys in this generation have. Then you'll be introduced to Khush (Imran Khan), a dream guy for most girls. Very innocent, very simple, very cute, very loving, very honest. What is very special about it, is that the actor who plays this character relates to it very much so that's a huge complement on the character. Katrina Kaif's character Dimple is very different from who she is and all her past roles so that's a huge boost on her career. When an actress tries different roles, you get the opportunity to see a side of their acting skills which you've not seen before and in this case, it's very positive.

If I had to define the film, I will say it was an entertaining comedic romantic film. It was bundled up with all those genres which kept the audience entertained.
Taran Adarsh gave the film 4/5 stars and said "On the whole, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a delectably wholesome, heartening, feel-good entertainer."
You can never expect little from YRF nor the performance of Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan. Ali Zafar is new to acting though he really proved a lot with his performance in this film.

I'm not going to say a lot about this film, but that it's worth watching. I give this film 4 stars.
