Since 2010, everyone was excited for Ra.one-after all, it is a Shahrukh film! We all expect something out of this world from Shahrukh Khan because of his history with his past films. He is the King of Bollywood. All his films have scarred us one way or another emotionally because he is one actor who can impact one's life with his movies. He's been in bollywood for 2 decades, and showered us with films that would sweep us off our feet but the question is, did Shahrukh sweep his fans once again with Ra.one? Or could it be that Ra.one did not appeal to his fans?
Ra.One released Oct. 25. No one would expect any flop from Shahrukh Khan, so why bother reading the reviews? People went 1st day 1st show for Ra.One but disappointment tagged along. Reviews kept pouring in left and right on social networks, and there were many mixed reviews. Taran Adarsh giving the film 4 stars and NDTV giving it 2.5 stars. There we're many 2-2.5 stars and very few 4 stars. I couldn't believe it. How could this be possible? Only thing I could think of is that you have to be a huge fan of Shahrukh to say you love this film...
I watched this film a few days ago. Walked in not knowing what to expect at all from the reviews. Throughout the start of the film, I found it very interesting and it engages the watcher. It had a vibrant fresh feel but that was only until the real story was introduced. The story line became extremely weak, and the worst part was how the whole movie was based on one thing. It was very weak, and I thought it could've done much more. A movie has to have different angles.
Shahrukh, Kareena, and the son did a superb superb superb job! I was just absolutely overwhelmed with their acting in this film. They we're all fab, and true stars! All we're truly dedicated and rocking in the film! I kept on looking at Kareena remembering her from K3G and comparing her to now. She looked stunning, beautiful, and out of this world! Shahrukh looked so handsome and like a prince as G.One-a true superhero. The son looked too cute and I loved his machoness! The action was mind blowing, and I believe it's something bollywood has never seen before. I kept on comparing the action sequences to Singham's and Ra.one has definitely beat it. Also, the effects we're absolutely out of this world! It was the cherry on the top for it's action sequences!
Ra.One really could've been the IT film for the year, but it has failed. I wish for unconditional success for Shahrukh's upcoming film Don 2 releasing this christmas. The only reason one should watch Ra.one is for the actors and the action sequences because THAT is what's worth it.
My rating for this film is 2.5 stars.

My thought on Mere Brother Ki Dulhan
Dear Writers and Readers, I'm sorry I've not written in this blog for a while. School has started and I've not had much time to write on here. I know I am late, but this is my short review of MBKD. Enjoy! :-)
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, a film very close to my heart.
I've stayed updated with this film since they started with the scenes, and that has made me have very high expectations of the film.
Sitting in the cinema, I couldn't believe that that was 'it'. The film I was waiting for, for over a year is finally on screens! It was very exciting.
It has my favorite actor, my favorite actress, and is my favorite film production.
In the start of the film, you'll be introduced to Luv (Ali Zafar). I love his character, because it's very modern. It's the personality most guys in this generation have. Then you'll be introduced to Khush (Imran Khan), a dream guy for most girls. Very innocent, very simple, very cute, very loving, very honest. What is very special about it, is that the actor who plays this character relates to it very much so that's a huge complement on the character. Katrina Kaif's character Dimple is very different from who she is and all her past roles so that's a huge boost on her career. When an actress tries different roles, you get the opportunity to see a side of their acting skills which you've not seen before and in this case, it's very positive.
If I had to define the film, I will say it was an entertaining comedic romantic film. It was bundled up with all those genres which kept the audience entertained.
Taran Adarsh gave the film 4/5 stars and said "On the whole, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is a delectably wholesome, heartening, feel-good entertainer."
You can never expect little from YRF nor the performance of Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan. Ali Zafar is new to acting though he really proved a lot with his performance in this film.
I'm not going to say a lot about this film, but that it's worth watching. I give this film 4 stars.

My thought on: Aarakshan
When i first saw the trailer, I knew exactly what to expect. A lovely melodramatic, heartwarming, meaningful & realistic film.
The director, Prakash Jha never fails to surprise me.
The presence of strong dialogs in all his films are well appreciated by his audience and always gets me thinking. His films all have such immense strong morals which i hope everyone learns from.
You can never walk out from a Prakash Jha film without thinking about the moral.
I've watched Aarakshan 12 hours ago yet it's still on my mind and I'm not surprised!
Aarakshan is a movie which i truly believe in.
This movie shows how the education system is not doing enough or even anything for the people who are lower in society.
What i love about Amitabh Bachchan's role is his will to give more then he takes & help others even if he has nothing. He has a perspective on education which he truly believes in and stands for thus proves that education is nothing you can buy. This is a reason why everyone should watch this film because we need people to follow Amitabh Bachchans characters footsteps.
Amitabh's character is a warm, giving teacher who teaches free of cost for students from the weaker community.
In my opinion education is both equally important to any student who is from a high society class or not.
What has society to do with education? Why does it matter? In the beginning of the film, Deepak Kumar (Saif Ali Khan) is interviewed by some people & the people ask him about his society/background & not a question about his education. This happens in everyday life and that pains me. Whats wrong with this generation? Society shouldn't be questioned.
This movie has been banned in 3 states! Why? Watch it yourself to see if its deserved to be banned.
All the actors in this film portrayed themselves perfectly. This has been my favorite performance of Deepika Padukone as she was influential in her role & extremely committed.
Amitabh Bachchan was the star, the gold, the diamond. You cannot walk out from this movie without praising Sir Bachchan because his effort, & skills were visible.
Saif Ali Khan hasn't proved himself that much with this film since he wasn't in this film as much as Deepika and Mr Bachchan but his role is like a breath of fresh air. Extremely refreshing and likeable and the same applies to Prateik Babbar!
It is worth watching for the sake of the moral and lesson but is slow in the second half. Many of the credits go to the director Prakash Jha and I hope people will give this film a chance.
My rating: About a 6.5 or 7/10

Life & beyond!
"Today is the oldest you've ever been, and the youngest you'll ever be again. Life each moment
no matter what"-Anonymous.
Life brings such powerful moments which we have to face.
Either moments which impact our lives in a positive or negative way.
In my previous entries of life, we've talked about life being filled with good moments and bad ones.
"The biggest risk in life is not taking one."
If you don't take risks in life, then how can you say you lived life?
Isn't life full of taking chances? Full of letting yourself out of your character experiencing
new things?
We have to go through risks.. Risks which either ends the way we want it to or not.
To experience both these moments put you in a forward position in life-I mean, doesn't life do that?
This is life.
"Everyone dies, but not everyone lives." "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years."
These are 2 quotes i recently read on twitter.
You can die at the age of 85 yet feel you've lived an incomplete life, and you can die at the age of 20 and feel you've lived a complete life with no regrets as you've lived your life to the fullest and ultimate best.
As much as life isn't about winning, it isn't about the amount of days you've lived either.
With all the games and obstacles in our lives, we either win or loose.
Well, winning is one of the best feelings ever experienced.
A feeling of accomplishment, pride, & joy bundled up together,& above all, the thought of
being unbeatable.
Losing is another story.
If life was about winning, then how could you say you've learned anything in life?
Because, when you loose, you learn from your mistakes since the only reason you loose is from a mistake you've done.
Winning just isn't life because if it were, then cant you just imagine what it would do to your self esteem?
Loosing builds emotional resilience.
I'm not saying that losing is life but simply stating that its important to experience loosing too!
Life is about the things you catch up with by experiencing both winning and loosing (in this matter).
It's those feelings i've mentioned above about winning which makes you experience the goodness of it and also the importance of loosing by learning how to get back on your feet and learn from your mistakes.
Winning and loosing both simply move you forward in life.
Life isn't about the amount of years, months, or days you've lived, but the life and memories in your years.
Never count on the amount of time you may life, because thats not the definition of life.
Who are you? What is your purpose in life? What is the meaning of your life?
Instead of asking yourself how much time you have to live, ask yourself how you will use the time your living now!
Life is full of second chances so if you feel your not living life the way you'd like to now, don't give up on yourself because one day when your in a hospital bed you'll look back and ask yourself why you didn't grab the chance when you could've.
You must understand its always better late then never.
Live that 2nd chance and if God doesn't give you that chance, then you have to seize it yourself.

My thought on;Singham
If your a person who loves action, and thriller then you'll love this film.
Singham, a thrilling action movie which will leave you at the end of your seat.
All the actors we're portrayed perfectly and the credits have to go the director since it's visible that he's broughten the best out of all the actors in the film. He's extremely talented, and his work is well appreciated! Kajal, a new comer in bollywood, played a great supporting role. Also the villians were shown in a strong fierce way which would amaze the audience.
Ajay was the star of the show, non the less he was the hero! He was brought perfectly in this movie. He played a really good hero which amazed me since I'd just look at him and say to myself that we do need more guys like him in reality who thinks the same like he does although that was just a character in a film, and this is reality.
I haven't seen many of his work, but i bet that this is one of his best work.

My rating of this film: Between 7-8/10.

My opinion on;Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a movie that you will refuse to let go from your mind and heart since it will stay with you forever. Its a movie that will have a huge impact on your perspective of life, and widen your eyes to such beautiful things you've never focused on before.
It's incredibly inspiring, and motivating. Its not just a movie that entertains an audience, but gives a lesson that can change ones life. As said in Amitabh Bachchans words 'ZNMD is a triumph of spirit'
In just 10 days it grossed 1.08 billian indian rupees!
The poetry in this movie was written by none other then Javed Akhtar (Directer Zoya Akhtars father, and father of actor Farhan Akhtar). Spoken to millions with the lovely message its given out.
All the actors (Katrina Kaif, Kalki, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, and Hrithik Roshan) we're outstanding and superb! They really proved themselves with this film and i could go on praising them but you should watch the movie yourself to experience seeing them act in such wonderful roles.
A strong moral brought up in this film: "Birth was not our choice, death is not our choice, but the way we live our lives is absolutely our choice. Enjoy your life" This is the message sent out. Live life. Lifes too short.
From this inspiring movie I've made a bucket list, a list of things I'd love to do before i die. Definitely inspired by ZNMD. Wouldn't have ever written a bucket list if it weren't for this eye opening movie.
I am a dreamer, but ZNMD taught me to do more then just dream, but to fulfill all those un-granted wishes and dreams i've been holding in my heart for so long.
So why not make a bucket list? Ask yourself what do you truly want? What are your dreams? Things to do to make you feel like your lifes complete?Go for it!
There are so many more morals, but it all comes back to one main thing; living life. Watch the movie yourself, and experience the importance of life through a movie that brings such meaning, a magical journey, and the importance of giving everything a chance.
My rating for this film: 8.5/10

The three friends in life (Past Present Future)
Everyone has a past, present, & future.
Some stuff that happens in our past are moments in life we never want to remember. The moments we regret, feel guilty about, or absolutely hate. It could go on. But don't forget there were also moments of happiness, joy, moments you'd love to repeat and live again.
They say we shouldn't live life with regrets. I agree. Life is short, we should live it to our fullest. How? Well, I've been asking myself this question and the only thing that came in mind is to not take everything so seriously. Shameful to say, but I've failed at that. I actually take nearly everything seriously, but there is a reason to it. At least, that's my excuse. My advice is to lighten up, i will take this advice for myself too.
I'd love to have a mind thats free. Not worry too much yet not too little at the same time. To have this comfortable balance, & be happy with everything. Of course that is impossible (To be happy with everything) because life is life and its bundled up with both good and bad moments. Truly, the only way you can approach to life succeedingly is to deal with everything that comes to you in the right way with extreme balance and strength. Not sure how, because i can give you indefinite ways since it depends on which situation. :-)
As we're done talking about the past, lets talk about the present. They say “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.” This gives us a reason to why everything we regretted in the past should be thrown in the garbage and be forgotten since its HISTORY. Today is a gift, and thats exactly why it's called 'Present'. Take it as a gift/blessing from Allah to have you live this wonderful day.
The future, as said in the quote above is a mystery. A complete mystery. A lovely mystery. Who knows if it will be a good day or a bad one? But there is a way to control the future, in a way. Heres a quote to support what I'm saying: 'Every Morning You Have Two Choices: Continue your sleep with dreaming, or wake up & chase your dream." This is in your control. All in your hands to do what your heart or mind tells you.
Shahid kapoor recently tweeted on twitter:" Be thankful for life every moment of it !!! We really have no idea how much we have !". You could die any second. What would panicking do? Live life! Chase your dreams! Sing in the rain! Dance in the snow! Enjoy every second your given since remember, the present is a gift and thats exactly what your living :)
Well, heres my favorite quote of all time! "Forget mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you're going to do now and do it. Today is your lucky day.:)"-Anupam Kher.

Life.What is it?
What is life? It's more then something your living. It sums up all those bad moments you go through which, at the end of the day it has only made you stronger. It gathers all those happy moments you cherish so much which makes you feel like your in cloud 9. I can describe life to you in just five words "Life is good & bad". Its a mixture of both opposite feelings which makes life interesting and it always happens for a reason.
Every situation has a lesson in life including a reason. Don't believe me? Well, there was a reason why i was friends with some certain people in life. It only taught me how really important it is to chose good friends in your life, and it also gave me strength to take care of myself & beware from people who are bad influences. There was a reason why at one stage in my life i gained so much weight. It gave me the time to think about how much staying healthy is important so i started going on a healthy lifestyle. It changed my life & taught me control with food, and the control which was taught to me also applied to me with other life situations. There was a reason why i failed a test which i studied a lot for. It taught me that at some point you need to study more then what you think is enough, and there is a need to study at least 3 days before a test to not cram all the information all at once. I'm sure you've gone through at least one of these situations. We all do, and there is a reason for that.
You know, i can give you 100 reasons to die, but really we only need one to survive. Only one. This is one moral from the movie 'Anjaana Anjaani'. It's an extremely life changing, strong dialogue . Just think about it. Your living, why not ask yourself why your living? Is there a special reason why your staying alive? A reason why you want to stay alive? Don't be afraid to ask yourself, and don't be afraid to answer honestly. If you can be honest with yourself you've achieved a huge step in life. It only proves you know exactly what you want with your life.
Everything in life is temporary though. So if things are going good, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if things are going bad, don't worry. It can't last forever either-Anonymous. This is one of my favorite quotes. So whenever you got through any of life's good or bad moments, why not remember this quote? Live life, and love it. It's beautiful.
Live life to the very best. Life is a gift to live and you should definitely thank God for living this very moment because there is roughly about 159 people dying per minute.I hope you understood from this entry that through a tough moment in life, it only brings you the best out of it, a true reason which at the end of the day will always be worth it. Take life as a risk by smiling even in life's toughest moments. Smile through it all.

Koi...Mil Gaya & Krrish
I advice everyone to watch Koi...Mil Gaya (Starring Hrithik Roshan & Preity Zinta) as soon as possible, then i advice you to watch Krrish (Which is part two of Koi..Mil Gaya) the exact night after you watch Koil..Mil Gaya.
No matter how many times you've watched this film, watch it once more.
Then i want you to just wait and see how much you'll cry in the end of Krrish!
I've watched Koi..Mil Gaya and watched Krrish the night after. It was pure magic. Got extremelly emotional, and just wanted to hug Hrithik Roshan.
I can tell you I've atleast sent 10 tweets to hrithik on twitter telling him how i loved his role. I love Duggu.
Koi...Mil Gaya translated to English means I met someone. Krrish is a short name for Krrishna, if you've watched this film/when you will watch this film you will understand.
I love movies that makes me cry. These tears speak for itself, and i can proudly say I'm a Hrithikian (Huge fan of Hrithik)
So if you havent seen this film, what are you waiting for? Watch it tonight! And if you have watched this film, watch it again in the exact order i told you. :-)
Goodnight everyone,
Sara
Life itself.
Life, beautiful, yet ugly at some times.
We meet people, some we like, and some we try to get away from.
We do new things, some we repeat, and some we regret doing.
We do mistakes, some we repeat, and some we learn from.
We Smile, cry, laugh, frown, Laykin yeh zindagi hai…Yeh zindagi hai. (This is life)
It’s so beautiful! They way its so un-perfect!
Sometimes, when we close our eyes and realize what we have, its perfect to us!
It’s because sometimes, what “Perfect” means to us could be better, but its enough to our wanting
I've written this a few months ago. Hope you all like it. .
